To become a member of quantum-link.org, you must agree to the following Terms of Service. These simple guidelines help us make sure that the quantum-link.org directory is free of websites with inappropriate content that could potentially tarnish the integrity of our links directory. If you have any questions about these Terms of Service, please contact our support team. NO INVISIBLE LINKS: ------------------- The following guidelines apply to the link placed on your home page that will point to your links page. It must be readable by the human eye, and not cloaked or hidden. If you use a textual link to your links page the link: • Must be in a contrasting color from its background • Must have a relevant title (i.e. Links, Resources, Partners, etc.) If you decide to use an image link to your links page, the image: • Must be visible • Must be of sufficient size to be recognized on the page • Must have relevant ALT or TITLE text (i.e. Links, Resources, Partners, etc.) Links that do not meet this criteria will not be displayed on our member's links pages. APPROPRIATE DESCRIPTIONS/CATEGORY SELECTION: -------------------------------------------- You must provide an appropriate description of your site including an appropriate title. Addionally you must select a relevant category for your site. Links that do not meet this criteria will not be displayed on our member's links pages or - in the instance of a poor category selection - will be moved to the most appropriate category at the administrative staff's discretion. SITES MUST BE CONTENT BASED: ---------------------------- Your site may not be simply a "link farm". Sites with high ratios of external links to internal links may be deemed a "link farm" and subject to an administrative flag. This flag will keep your link from displaying on our member's links pages. In addition, "doorway pages" are not allowed. A "doorway page" is simply a landing page that has little or no content on it, and serves as a "doorway" to a different web page. SITES OF A PORNOGRAPHIC NATURE: ------------------------------- BigLinX will not accept sites that have pornographic content. Sites that are deemed pornographic will be subject to an administrative flag which will keep your link from displaying on our member's links pages. SITES PROMOTING ILLEGAL ACTIVITY: ------------------------------- BigLinX will not accept sites that have content that promotes illegal activities such as drug use, hate crimes, terrorist activities, software "cracks", etc. BigLinX reserves the right to determine which type of websites violate this Term on a case-by-case basis. You are responsible for checking your account on a regular basis to see of your site has been flagged for any reason. BigLinX will not be responsible for a member's failure to monitor the status of their account. Any member who is flagged for any reason can cancel their account at any time via their PayPal account. BigLinX will not offer any refunds for breach of this agreement. The terms of this member agreement are subject to change at any time.
